So i stopped to read and started to think for the next things to do. Suddenly my eyes stuck at one point in the corner. A camera is there. What a light bulb! I've got a better idea to do something with this shit. Yes, go hunting somewhere. Somewhere which is not so far, has interesting objects like crowds and just a small closed area (so i don't need to walk around that far). Yup..A train station was the answer. There were two train stations close to my house but Kalibata station seemed the best choise. Cloudy made the day more perfect, then i rode straight away to station.

He Kicked Me Out of the Train Station
So i stopped to read and started to think for the next things to do. Suddenly my eyes stuck at one point in the corner. A camera is there. What a light bulb! I've got a better idea to do something with this shit. Yes, go hunting somewhere. Somewhere which is not so far, has interesting objects like crowds and just a small closed area (so i don't need to walk around that far). Yup..A train station was the answer. There were two train stations close to my house but Kalibata station seemed the best choise. Cloudy made the day more perfect, then i rode straight away to station.
In the station, i started shuttering from the entry gates. There i could see people walking in the station, Some people were buying a ticket whilst the others were sitting on the bench and from outside of the fences i could see street sellers were busy with their customers. Seeing human activity is very interesting.

While enjoying my time, a middle age man suddenly came to me and threw out some questions. I explained him that i lived around this area, coming here just to capturing some moments only for my personal interest. He smiled but i could see he was a bit curious at me. Anyway i claimed that he understood of what i am doing there.
Having enough in that spot, i moved inside the station where only passenger who hold the ticket could enter. My fault was i didn't have a ticket but eager to get inside. I whispered the guard that i just came to visit, capturing some moment around the peron and cross my heart i wouldn't take the train. Indeed i was very confidence telling him that i have talked with the head of station for the permit, even without a print. Actually I was lying. (I was just guessing that the man who came and asked me in the entry gate apparently was the head of station). The guard looked not convinced yet and again asked me " Tadi memang udah ketemu (sebut saja) Pak Sudarman, kan? Kayak apa orang nya??" What a heck this guy gave me a test or what.. I said, "iya pak, itu orang nya yang pake baju hitam, cepak, ada bros di dadanya kan?" (i described the man i met in the front gate very very very well..hehe). So he believed me (90%). Still i saw he's still got something in his head.. So I passed through the gate and walked to the peron quickly before this guy changed his mind. Fiuuh.. Congratulation, stage 1 was accomplished!
Yiipie.. i was in and walked among the passenger sitting on the bench and really I wanted to use this time to capture everything i wanted. Such as The face of people being sad, bored because of the train came late. Face of happy smile from some people who had girl sitting beside them and made a conversation. Cheers of school boys who later i knew they just finished their class and waiting a train to Tangerang. OMG, their school is in Kalibata but they live in Tangerang.. I wish God blessed them and keep them strong enough. It was very nice talking with those guys, seemed they had nothing to lose, happy always. And i felt younger.. Alhamdulillah.
From the distance i saw a big massive guy, black uniformed, with not a very friendly face was heading to me. I knew he really wanted me, but i didn't care. What i thought was he was just showing his ass off by walking on the Peron and let people surrounded adore him like a fashion model walks on the cat walk. Ohh.. sorry you couldn't attract my camera to shoot you.
So then, he shouted at me.. "mas, kesini mas.. Mas nya tadi gak izin dulu ya kalo mau foto. Ini kan fasilitas umum, jadi harus ada izin nya.."
Me: (dump face)," oh begitu ya pak.. Bukannya karna ini fasilitas umum, jadinya kita boleh2 aja jepret2.. kira2 bapak ini siapa ya? ..
Satpam: " gak bisa begitu mas, pokoknya gak boleh.. Mas ini pers ya?? Saya ini yang tadi nanyain tiket mas di pintu masuk.. Masak lupa sih? Ya udah yuk kita ke kantor kepala stasiun!"
Me: "o o oke kalo begitu.. ayok kita kemon lah pak.."
In the way to office, we explained about the situation.. i explained him gently that i am not a journalist. Looked like he didn't care at all.. Great job dude!!
In the office, head of station said that i could not do photography here because i didn't have any permit. I did apologize about it and i thought i could do this in train station since this is a public facility. He argued that it was not right.. Well, i succumbed :(
He, then, repeated many times the same question what i would do with all my documentation. Firmly i said, i am not a journalist nor LSM. I was here just to pursue my personal interest in photography and killed my boredom. He seemed didn't really get me. So he just rejected all my reasons and asked me to get out of his castle. Crapppp!!
I left the Station..
The fact was, i didn't feel regret at all regarding this situation. Why, because i had something new even as an embarrassed story in my life and quite rushing this blood at sunday. These actually killed my boredom. Beside, Meeting some people which i never met before from very friendly people to this such of head of station was so nice. Thanks for pak satpam and his head for all this story.. Indeed you have made my sunday colorful.. waka waka eeee... :D
