Monday out of focus

Today is monday. Monday is the day which people hate the most. Hate it because reluctant to wake up at 6, hate to be back to routinity with the heavy work load, annoying call from the boss, sitting in front of desktop with almost no time to talk or whatever that is. A part of it, some people may see it similar to the other day. No need to pay a lot attention for that day or waste a lot of energy just to define monday is a haterd day. Whatever what they are arguing, today is monday.

So, i came to office at 8 after struggeling on the messy traffic for half an hour. Surprisingly, i was the first brilliant guy coming in my room. The rest 3 guys, i guess, still trying so hard to get away from traffic trap. So i have one pride to start my monday as i came earliest. Yes!! Computer has been started up, hot and less sugar Tea is on the desk, checking email with not so important mail coming and finally the guy next after me came one by one. So full team now.

The big man from the other room was suddenly came in the silences. I was actually not too surprise as the way he came is predictable. The way he is stepping his feet is like he wants to break to floor. So, he stopped just in front of the white board as he used to and he's got attracted by the red writting among the black. Shoot, that was my GFE project.

Him: "what the progress of this point so far?",

Me:" it is still red anyway",

Him: " i know, if there is somebody who change it to black, that should be you"

Me: "hm.. yeah. So i think i will take what you propose to me eventhough i still get excited to look for the other one which much more related to i am doing here."

Him:" yes you can do, but the time is running so fast and have to be quick to get the project. Btw, why you don't take what i gave to you?"

Me: "i took it and i still keep it while i am looking for what i mentioned before. But i think, considering the time limit, if i don't get any other things, i will go for it"

Him: " i think that is better"

Me: "ok"

Oh god, i just took the challenge to work for something i almost reject before. I hope everything will go fine as i begin to work on it. First things to do is to make an abstract. I spent almost one hour just to fit best the title. Later i left it, and jump to the other part and then i was stuck again at the first sentence. All references were on the screen but this frozen brain was like full loaded. I jumped out of my chair and went to colleague to borrow his headphone. I thought i need a break.

Back to my desk and started playing selected music list, and yes i felt more easy and continued to write even not so much. Some opened web page on my browser tab attracted me more and i went through it just to see the recent news, photographs or read stupid status from people on facebook. Time showed 11am and i was shock of my self. In the next 45 minutes, the gank will call everybody around for lunch break. That means it was more difficult to concentrate on writting within that time.

The things i regret were, i was out of focus because because got attracted by the other opened web page and i came early in the morning as the first man in office for nothing. Shoot!

But it doesn't mean i hate monday.

OK, time for lunch.
